This new campsite is currently under development, facilities include 15 spacious plots for caravan holiday homes all with concrete reinforced bases (limited plots available), reception, cafe/bar, swimming pool and shower block for campers. Aitana Prestige Caravan Holiday Homes (single units only)There are many different internal designs to choose from; they come completely furnished with two choices of fabric colours. Fitted as standard, Persiana blinds, double glazing, mosquito blinds on all windows, (please note apart from the kitchen and wall units) the sofa, tables, and beds etc.. are totally removable. All double beds are King Size. The hot water, fire and kitchen hob are powered by bottled gas. Electrical supply is 40 amps per plot. Air-conditioning can be fitted by a local Pizarra company if required. Satellite TV and Internet with low cost call Telephone is available if you require a connection. |
Pizarra Pueblo Pizarra is a wonderful traditional Spanish Village and boasts all the facilities needed locally.
There are numerous shops and supermarkets, bars and restaurants, banks,
medical centre, dentists, pharmacies, internet centre, petrol stations,
also DVD hire. There is also a newly built municipal swimming pool which
has a retracting glass roof for summer and winter use.A fabulous public service to Malaga and the coast is available with the use of the Pizarra train station; there is also a local bus and taxi service. Pizarra celebrates many religious events throughout the year with a colourful week long Feria celebration in August. Pizarra
is a welcoming village although forever growing not losing its traditional
charm.A statue of Jesus known locally as "El Santo" overlooks the village from the mountain top protecting its people. Also close by is the historic village of Alora with its steep hills and Moorish Castle. Another
tourist attraction is the beauty of the scenic lakes of Ardales Natural
Park and the El Chorro Gorge which was used in the final scenes of the classic
